Before it is sewn, the organic cotton fabric is hand gathered in the style of Mokume Shibori and hand dyed using natural indigo that was grown in coastal South Carolina.  The practice of Shibori is a labor of love. Results vary from garment to garment, and no two rompers will be exactly alike. Though the fabric is treated in the same way and cut from the same pattern, each garment is truly unique.
